Your gifting records

Your gifting records are stored locally in this browser on this device. These include people’s names, relationships and interests, occasion dates and budgets, gift plans and reminder preferences. Timely uses these records to show upcoming occasions and suggest gifts using interests, occasion and budget. No account or cloud sync is currently provided.

The app keeps a main copy and a backup copy in browser storage. Records remain there unless removed or replaced, or the browser clears them. Changing browser or device does not transfer them automatically.

Backups

You can export and restore backups from the People tab. Backup files may contain personal gifting information, including names, dates, interests and saved gifts. Recovery files may also contain original stored records. Keep these files somewhere safe and share them only with people or services you trust.

Downloaded or shared files are separate from browser storage. Removing records in Timely does not remove copies of backup files you have kept elsewhere.

External services

Loading Timely connects to its hosting service. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and some product images are loaded from Shopify image hosts. External services may receive connection or request information such as your IP address and browser information. Opening a retailer link also connects you to that retailer, whose own privacy notice applies.

Local storage of gifting records does not mean every request stays on your device. Any affiliate networks or other providers may receive information when relevant services are introduced; this policy will be updated with the actual providers and data uses before activation.

Analytics and error reporting

Timely’s app analytics logger is currently disabled and has no configured analytics destination. Error-reporting hooks exist, but whether hosting or preview tools use them, and what they receive, still needs confirmation. Hosting logs and provider practices also need review. This is not a claim that no tracking occurs or that consent is unnecessary.

Affiliate Disclosure

Affiliate links are not currently enabled. Timely may earn commission from qualifying purchases through affiliate links once these are enabled. The policy and disclosure will be updated to reflect the actual affiliate providers and arrangements before activation.

When enabled, each monetised link or relevant recommendation will have a compact, clearly visible “Ad” or equivalent label before you click. Current ordinary retailer links are not labelled as advertisements.

Still to confirm before launch

The operator’s legal identity and privacy contact details, applicable legal basis, user rights and request process still need confirmation. So do hosting and error-reporting recipients, provider retention periods, any international transfers and any tracking or consent requirements. No unverified contact details, retention periods or legal assurances are provided here.

Before affiliate activation, programme approval, product-content and image permissions, actual providers and their data practices must be checked. Any claim about the effect of commissions on prices must be supported by the chosen programme’s terms.
